He wants his daughter to he what HE wants her to be. Like bringing out the picture of her smile, trying to make the daughter look like the bad guy. Shes not his little girl anymore.

Jo is so good with the teens and older kids. She doesn’t talk down to them like so many people talk to kids, she treats them with respect and lets them say their piece and feel like their opinion matters. But if teenagers are doing risky things she’s real about it and doesn’t sugarcoat it.
This dad needs to get over the girl growing up though. She’s 16, she’s gonna be interested in boys. If he just says “no boys ever” that’s a recipe for disaster. That never works.
