I was where that Mom is, so many times. But, Id get up the next morning, and do it all over again. My kids had no one else, and I wasnt going to give up on them.
Now, I have 2 beautiful, adult children.

My dad does that sometimes, my brother is 14 years old and he is very disrespectful, but whenever my dad is here he doesn’t really do anything, everybody in the house knows it and the only my dad does something is when its really bad. Took me 20 years to realize all the hard work my mother put into parenting us and how little my dad actually did. We loved him more growing up, played with him, had the most fun with him and mom was always the strict one. Took me 20 years and now im begging my mom for forgiveness and im disgusted with my dad. He literally taught us no skills , never helped with school work, never helped us apply for jobs, didnt shop for our clothes or cook for us, never disciplined us, it was always just mom but as kids we didnt realize this all.
