It's a combination of American schools giving way too much homework everyday and the parents giving them so many activities. So sad

Kids should have time for homework and play
@Silver.S Says:
Ugh. Extra activities are great but school comes first. Then extra activities. But kids also need time to play for the sake of their development
@sickmade801 Says:
Kids just need to be kids.

Let kids be kids, i had to grow up fast 😢 but my inner child loves to play now that im an adult
@EmiliusReturns Says:
Putting the extracurriculars before getting the homework done is pretty warped priorities from the parents.
@lisacraig1894 Says:
Only the kids that got pushed really hard with lots of activities seemed to do good…or that’s the thought!
@d-padqueen1103 Says:
While it is good to expose your kid to as many positive learning experiences as possible - not all at once! It's fine to let them try something, decide something they can focus on - they also need time to play and homework is important. Most kids are underexposed to learning and those are the ones that do struggle later on when life calls them to make decisions or have skills.
@alivia6705 Says:
That’s so sad! That kid shouldn’t be that stressed out over homework at his age!
@lindah1990 Says:
What episode is this??
@juniamcc35 Says:
When I was growing up school came FIRST. Homework was first when we got home from school. We NEVER got home after 8:00 p.m.! Dinner was at 6:00, lol! Helping with dinner or setting the table was next, followed by dinner. One of us had to help rinse the dishes and load the dishwasher. If homework wasn't done it was straight back to our rooms to finish the assignment(s) for the next day. THEN, once that was done, we could watch t.v. before bedtime.

Not Americans.....Chinese. Three year olds are doing activities. I live in Asia and see it everyday

I told my sons school to forget 'homework' for him...and detention. I said 'if your teachers cant teach my son in their allocated hours its not his fault. Schoolwork is for school. His time outside of school is his own.' They tried to push it...l said...'l said no. I do not agree to schoolwork outside of school. He has chores to do and life to live.' They then allowed him to do 'Homework' at school. 🙄🙄 l found the standards of education were very bad compared to when l was at school. Its like they're deliberately dumbing down the population...

Childabuse!!
@lightonthehill8548 Says:
I remember this episode, if I remember correctly all four children had between 8 - 12 activities per week, including the six year old, the mother was stressed out from arranging and driving to all of these activities, and the father would come home late in the evening and reenergise the kids, so they barely slept as well. Supernanny had the family cut the activities down to one or two per week.
@jamzee63 Says:
They want the kids out of their hair.....no need to raise them correctly....problem solved for these so called parents.

@user-pt1cz4ot1e Says:
My grandparents and parents always encouraged 1 sport, 1 instrument, and 1 new language. After that, it was up to me if I wanted to do more. That’s plenty.
@ahawk6113 Says:
Yeah im 17 and my parents have me take on 4 jobs on top of early college homework its the most stressful thing
@snowbird1381 Says:
Seriously parents stop this! If you shelter and overload your kids like this, they will turn into weird adults.
@TTVERZE Says:
I’m in shock
@Pseudopup Says:
This kid is already so anxious. It's not selfish or unproductive to relax and give yourself time
@tinacombee8072 Says:
I always had minne do their HW right after school while school work is still fresh in there mind,then the rest of the day is their's
@richellmcknight446 Says:
Jeez, people, let kids be kids! Let them ride their bikes, and play outside in the rain and be children!
@samthejackalope5427 Says:
I also feel that kids especially in america are in so many extra curricular activities cuz the parents either dont wanna parent or cuz they have nothing they can think of to do together.
@kathconserv Says:
She’s right.

Welcome to America
@amandap8215 Says:
I remember what that was like. Homework is completely counter productive and I had to waste 4 hours A-day doing it.
@Bearleyburied Says:
The grumpy Americans in comments 🚩🚩🚩 she’s telling the truth we over prioritize after school activities here, don’t be grumpy about her calling it out it screams “lack of self awareness”
@Liv-cn7lg Says:
My parents were mad that I did so many things lol
@Leelz247 Says:
Supernanny is so sweet, cuddling up to the kids.
@vanillawaterfae Says:
Teachers should be able to teach kids everything during the school day. Homework is lame.
@frogganna Says:
I'm cool until you stereotype me... I'm American and my kids don't have any "Ovvvah Ak'ivities".
@nataliecoleman4348 Says:
If children are in school all day, why do they need homework? They should be able to go home and do what they want. Most adults don't bring their work home.
@ChunkTheFrog Says:
My mom always made me do one; I could drop it at anytime and change it but the one kept me busy but still had to to play, work or do whatever else I want
