How many of us were kicked out of the house after breakfast and told to come back when the street lights came on or the triangle rang...whether it was in our small town or my granparents' farms. We lived on Tang and saltiness until dinner time. What great fun!

We had 30 acres of land, most heavily wooded, surrounded by heavy woods in extremely rural MO. I was never constrained on exploring by myself or with my friends. It was amazing. I am still an avid nature lover to this day
