You havent trained him to cope with his big feelings about change, so he has trained you to bend to his will whenever he gets upset about change. If you allow your guilt about disciplining them prevent you from doing it, you will raise undisciplined kids. That's much worse for you and them, than feeling guilty that you upset them by putting boundaries in place
