Jo and parents have different labels for the sounds their child make. It's interesting to hear Jo refer to the yelling & screaming Dylan does be called crying & whining by mom. I'm with Jo. Those noises Dylan makes very loudly are definitely screaming, not just crying or whining, which I expect would be not as loud as screaming, even for Dylon.
@Peggie7Kids Says:
I never forced my children to eat, but if they chose not to eat the food prepared, they had to wait until the next meal to eat. Of course I made sure there was something they liked at each meal. Food battles are awful. I raised 7, plus several foster children.

Dylan won't eat his dinner after that. He eated his food.
@lauramathews3151 Says:
Also start servings smaller, and if they're still hungry they can ask for more. Also if my kids refuse their food at dinner, they get it at their next meal. If there wasn't a whole meals worth left they can have some of something else once it's gone.
@tylerhinkle2005 Says:
The chicken looked good this why Dylan should learn to eat healthy
