I have two grown kids my husband and I hated time out we both felt like it was torture so we spanked only 3 hits on the bottom and then we talked to to them and also finished by telling them how much we love them we never had to spank past the age of 6 praise God

A 3 yr old that acts like this??!?.. it really makes me wonder how did this all start.. was he ignored and he started to misbehave to get attention? Has he seen this behavior and language from someone in the home ?? Is there some undiagnosed phycology issue? Hes 3 !!! This just didn't come out of thin air... Time outs are bs! We got disciplined and then put in our rooms and I know I really thought about why I was in there and I didn’t like getting disciplined so I learned how to behave! I still fear authority! My husband hates authority and I fear it so he def uses it to his advantage lol!
